Does it work in my apps?
Voice Typing pastes text into the active text field. Use it in editors such as Sublime Text, email drafts, notes, documents, and message composers. A per-app tone can adapt Pro refinement to your writing.
What do I need to run Auris?
A Mac with Apple Silicon and macOS 15 or later. Microphone, Accessibility, and Input Monitoring permissions are required. Screen Recording is optional, for screen context.
What happens after the seven-day trial?
Keep unlimited on-device transcription in Free Raw mode, or subscribe to Pro for AI refinement, commands, and Workspace. Downloading and starting the app trial requires no credit card.
Can I use it without the internet?
Yes. After initial setup, Raw transcription and Voice Shortcuts work offline. Pro AI features require a connection because text or optional screen context is processed in the cloud.
Can I speak in another language?
Yes. Auris supports 25 languages and automatically detects the language you speak. All are included in free dictation. The full language list is above and in the guide.
